Doug Roubidoux

Doug is currently serving as the Director of Debate and Senior Lecturer at UW-Oshkosh and has been since 1998. UW-Oshkosh is a nationally and regionally competitive program. In 2005 the UW-Oshkosh novice squad finished 14th in the nation, the JV squad finished 20th and the squad as a whole was ranked 26th in the ADA national rankings. Doug also coaches at Neenah High School (2003 - present). At the 2004 NFL National Tournament two teams from Neenah finished in the top 25.
Doug has been a member of the MUDI Faculty since 1999 and before that was a part of the Kansas University Debate Camp Faculty as a lab leader from 1996 - 1998. From 1996 to 1998, Doug was the Assistant Director of Debate at Wichita State University. He was also the co-host for the 1997 CEDA national tournament.
His personal debate record is also an astonishing one - he competed on the Cross Examination Debate Association (CEDA) circuit for the University of Texas San Antonio and was the 7th Seed, quarterfinalist and 10th speaker at CEDA Nationals in 1996. Doug was Debate All American in 1995 and 1996 and broke into out rounds at the CEDA National Tournament in 1994, 1995 and 1996. He was a regular in late out rounds on the national circuit. In 1995 and 1996 the University of Texas San Antonio was raked 4th in the nation.
