Bill Batterman

Bill Batterman is the Director of Debate and Forensics at Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This will be Bill's first summer at MUDI.
Previously a coach at Nicolet and Appleton East, Bill has coached his students to the late elimination rounds of many of the most prestigious tournaments in the state and country including Wake Forest, Iowa Valley, New Trier, Newburgh Free Academy, Blake, Harvard, and the Wisconsin State Tournament of Champions. Bill has qualified several students to the National Forensic League National Tournament including the 15th and 7th place teams in Policy Debate the past two seasons.
Bill was a highly successful policy and Lincoln-Douglas debater, extemporaneous speaker, and Student Congressman in his own right while competing for West Bend East High School and the Catholic University of America and has been an active member of the Wisconsin debate and forensics community for more than a decade. He is the co-founder and a regular contributor to Wisconsin Forensics Daily and has twice taught the Advanced Seminar at the Wisconsin Debate Coaches' Association Fall Workshop.
